BTS Overview

     Brunswick Transit System, Inc. (BTS) is a non-profit transportation system that coordinates human service agency and general public transportation services for the citizens of Brunswick County. BTS was incorporated in 1989 and operates under G.S.55A, North Carolina Nonprofit Corporation Act, and USC 501(c)(3), Internal Revenue Code - exemption from tax on corporations as a nonprofit corporation. The system operates a fleet of 15 vehicles, including 11 which are ADA equipped to assist persons with special needs.

Mission Statement

     It is the mission of Brunswick Transit System, Inc. to provide safe, reliable and efficient transportation services to the residents of Brunswick County.

Area Served

     BTS serves all of Brunswick County. Out of county services are provided into New Hanover County on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
